IMAX Taps Northstar Media as Exclusive Rep for Film Package

LOS ANGELES/CONNECTICUT,
March 25: IMAX Corporation has appointed television program distributor
Northstar Media as the exclusive worldwide representative for its IMAX XXI film
package, consisting of 21 award-winning high-definition IMAX films such as Survival
Island, narrated by Sir David
Attenborough.

Other key titles in the
package include Tom Hanks Presents Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the
Moon 3D, Space Station, Into the Deep, T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous, Blue Planet, The Dream is Alive (narrated
by Walter Cronkite), Galapagos (narrated
by Kenneth Branagh) and The Secret of Life on Earth (narrated by Patrick Stewart).

Under the terms of the
agreement, Northstar Media will have the worldwide television, VOD, mobile and
broadband rights to the IMAX XXI film package, marking the first time that all
21 titles have been available for these outlets.
