Image Signs Pay-Per-View, VOD Deal with DISH

CHATSWORTH: Image Entertainment has signed an agreement to supply DISH Network with pay-per-view and video-on-demand entertainment programming for the service’s more than 13.5 million subscribers.

The deal gives DISH Network the ability to offer subscribers select titles from Image Entertainment through its pay-per-view and video-on-demand platforms. Image currently holds approximately 3,200 exclusive DVD titles for U.S. release as well as some 400 programs to distribute internationally.

“We’re very pleased to be working with DISH Network to bring our vast library of entertainment content to their subscribers,” said Steve Saltman, the senior VP of worldwide television for Image Entertainment. “This agreement greatly expands our ability to deliver programming into households across the country.”
