Icon Scores Spanish Broadcast Deal for Chorion’s Noddy

BARCELONA, July 2: Icon Animation, on behalf of Chorion, has
reached a deal for Noddy to air on the Disney Channel in Spain.

The Disney Channel has picked up
all 100×10-minute episodes of Make Way for Noddy and the 100×2-minute Say it with Noddy, alongside three 26-minute television specials: Noddy
Saves Christmas; Noddy and the
Island Adventure; Noddy and the
Magical Moondust. Using
CGI, Make Way For Noddy
features Noddy and his friends learning life’s lessons from their everyday
adventures in Toy Town. Say It With Noddy introduces children to the English language by highlighting words or
phrases that are familiar to children and are part of their everyday lives.

In the U.K., Make Way for
Noddy currently broadcasts on Five and consistently rates in the top five
preschool programs for kids aged 3-5. In France, Noddy—known as Oui-Oui (Yes, Yes)—is
broadcast on France 5 and Tiji, ranking amongst the top shows on these
channels. Oui-Oui is the number three
preschool character in the French market.

Make Way for Noddy also airs in more than 100 other countries across the
world, including the U.S., Japan, China, Germany, Australia, India and
Portugal, where Noddy is the number one
preschool show. Noddy has also secured
more than 200 licensees worldwide, with more than 1,000 products available.
