Huntsberry Takes Paramount Pictures Post

NEW YORK, July 17: Frederick Huntsberry, who was upped to
president of NBC Universal International just two months ago, is leaving the
company to become COO of Paramount Pictures.

Reporting to Paramount’s chairman and CEO, Brad Grey, Huntsberry
will be responsible for worldwide strategic planning and operations, including
finance, human resources, lot operations, and the office of the general
counsel.

As president of NBC Universal International, Huntsberry
provided strategic direction for the company’s new business development growth
opportunities around the world, overseeing international TV and new media
distribution and global networks.

According to published reports, Huntsberry will take over
some of the duties of Rob Moore, who oversees worldwide marketing, distribution
and business affairs. Moore now adds Paramount Home Entertainment and the
Paramount Digital Media Group to his remit.
