HOW TO Channel Picks Up Programming from BBC Worldwide

SYDNEY, October 15: BBC Worldwide Australasia has licensed
nearly 100 hours of factual and lifestyle content to Australia’s home- and
garden-themed HOW TO Channel.

In gardening fare, new series licensed to the HOW TO Channel
include the 10×25-minute James Martin Digs Deep, a Zenith Production, which sees renowned chef James Martin try his
hand at growing his own produce. Other series include the third season of the
10×30-minute A Year at Kew, which
explores the past and future heritage of Kew Gardens, and the fourth season of
the 29×30-minute series Garden Invaders, from Endemol Productions, which sees families compete to win their
dream garden.

On the home front, the HOW TO Channel will premiere
Fantasy Homes by the Sea
, produced by
Splash Media for UKTV Style. The new series follows ten couples hoping to make
their dreams of living by the sea come true as they search the U.K., Europe and
Florida for the best coastal property. The series To Buy or Not to
Buy
follows Kristian Digby, Dominic
Littlewood and Sarah Walker as they give prospective property buyers the chance
to try before they buy.

Additionally, Zenith Production’s Room Rivals returns for a third season with two top designers
going head to head in presenting their makeover visions to homeowners, while
the third season of Leopard Film’s Cash in the Attic explores the homes of cash-strapped families in
search of hidden treasure and unseen fortune.
