How the Grinch Stole Christmas Heads to NBC

UNIVERSAL CITY: NBC has inked a three-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution to become the broadcast home of the 1967 animated classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Beginning this year, NBC will air the special twice per holiday season. The production, based on Dr. Seuss’s book, features the voice talents of Boris Karloff as the Grinch and narrator, and June Foray as Cindy Lou Who. Chuck Jones produced and directed.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the tale of the green and small-hearted Grinch, who sets out to ruin Christmas for all the Whos of Whoville, but ultimately has a change of heart when he feels the Christmas spirit.
