HIT Opens Hong Kong Office

LONDON, September 18: As
part of its international expansion plans, HIT Entertainment is opening a new
office in Hong Kong, to service the Asia-Pacific region.

From this new office, HIT
will handle licensing, TV sales and distribution to broadcasters, licensees and
licensing agents in Australia, Korea, Southeast Asia and India. HIT already
operates an office in Japan.

“Our pan-Asian business is
one of the fastest growing regions in our international markets,” says Peter
Byrne, the executive VP of international at HIT Entertainment. “We look forward
to expanding and building upon the success of our properties in the region as
we increase our focus and work more closely with our partners.”

Claire Dicey will assume
the role of sales director for Southeast Asia. Previously based in London, Dicey has handled HIT’s Asia
Pacific business over the past two years and has relocated to Hong Kong.
