HGTV Partners with Thom Filicia

NEW YORK: Interior designer and television personality Thom Filicia has inked a development deal with HGTV.

The pact includes several future projects, plus guest appearances on HGTV series and a starring role in a holiday special. "We are excited to welcome someone of Thom Filicia’s caliber to our growing HGTV family," said Kathleen Finch, general manager of the channel. "As one of the country’s top designers, his design work is fresh, vibrant and extremely accessible and we think he fits in perfectly with our design experts and program offerings."

Filicia first appeared on TV on Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. He has been featured on a number of other series and continues to operate a successful New York-based design business.
