HBO May Launch Broadband Internet Channel

NEW YORK, November 22:
HBO, the pay-TV service owned by Time Warner, is considering launching a
broadband Internet channel that would be available to subscribers of Time
Warner Cable.

According to the Financial
Times, HBO’s CEO Chris Albrecht said that the company is talking to cable
operators about an “HBO-like” service.

Through it, broadband customers
could click on a branded menu and download the network's programming.
