GSN Preps Updated Lingo

SANTA MONICA: This June, GSN will launch an updated version of the popular mystery-word game show format Lingo, produced by ALL3MEDIA’s ZOO Productions and hosted by comedian Bill Engvall.

The ALL3MEDIA International format first aired on GSN from 2002 to 2007 with Chuck Woolery as host. The cable network has started production on the new version, which will air as a daily strip. An initial run of 40 episodes has been ordered from ZOO Productions, the producers of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Engvall will be one of two co-hosts.
