Granada Takes on Worldwide Rights to David Beckham Doc

LONDON,
July 25: Granada International has secured the worldwide distribution
rights to the one-hour documentary David Beckham: New Beginnings, which tracks the British football player’s recent
move to Los Angeles.

Produced by Simon Fuller’s 19 TV, the documentary follows
Beckham over the course of two months as he plays in his last game of the
season for Real Madrid against La Liga, returns to the England Squad, and
finally, arrives in Los Angeles to begin a new career with the LA Galaxy Major
League Soccer team. The documentary features interviews with Beckham as he
reflects on the highs and lows of the last 12 months and his expectations for
the next chapter of his sporting career.

Bob Massie is the executive producer of David Beckham:
New Beginnings
. The show was produced by
Caroline Mandell and directed by Gary Brooks for 19 TV. This marks the third
documentary that Mandell has produced featuring the Beckham family.
