Got Talent Makes Strong Debut in the Philippines

LONDON: The premiere of Pilipinas Got Talent, the Filipino adaptation of FremantleMedia’s hit competition format, debuted on ABS-CBN with a 38.7-percent audience share.

The show ranked as the number one show in the Philippines for the week. Pilipinas Got Talent is hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano with the judging panel of Kris Aquino, Freddie Garcia and Ai-Ai Delas Alas. Marc Abaya hosts Pilipinas Got More Talent, which is a 30-minute spin-off of the main shows and airs from Mondays to Fridays.

FremantleMedia Asia’s CEO, Patrick Schult, said: “Got Talent continues its march across Asia and the world, and is going from strength to strength. Got Talent has a genuinely universal appeal and we’re delighted that audiences in the Philippines have responded to it with as much enthusiasm as they have elsewhere.”
