LOS ANGELES: Go Go Luckey Entertainment and Eclipse Television—a joint venture between Kilburn Media and Demarest Media—have merged as part of a deal brokered exclusively by ACF.

This is the first acquisition for the Eclipse banner, which is part of a larger expansion of Demarest and Kilburn into the scripted and unscripted television space. Through Eclipse, Kilburn and Demarest have designated funds to acquire other TV production companies to add to the Eclipse platform.

Founded in 2003, Go Go Luckey Entertainment is known for such unscripted titles as MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and A&E's Paranormal State. The company's current projects include The Jacksons: Next Generation for Lifetime and Fear: Buried Alive for A&E. Following the merger, Go Go Luckey's management team of Julie Auerbach, Henry Capanna, Tina Gazzerro-Clapp and Dennis Principe will remain in place and continue to produce content under the Eclipse Television banner.

"At Eclipse Television we have been looking for the right partnerships to help facilitate our continued expansion into the content-creation business, and with Go Go Luckey we have found a perfect match to facilitate this continued growth," said Kilburn Media CEO Mark C. Manuel.

Sergio Alfaro, the CEO of Eclipse, commented: "Go Go Luckey’s track record of creating impactful, genre-defining shows speaks for itself, and we are excited to have them join our family."

Demarest CEO William D. Johnson noted: "Our aim has always been to grow Eclipse, organically and via acquisition, into a television powerhouse. I can think of no better addition to the business Sergio and his team have built than the proven hit-makers at Go Go Luckey."

Michael Lambert, the founder of Lambert Media Group and a partner in both Kiburn and Demarest, stated: "It is rare to find a team with the creativity and flexibility to compete in a multi-screen TV environment. We are delighted to welcome Julie, Tina, Henry and Dennis into our growing family of companies."

Go Go Luckey Entertainment remarked: "We are excited to be joining forces with Eclipse Television. The combined expertise of all involved will greatly expand our ability to create and produce scripted, unscripted and live content across all platforms for the ever evolving audience. Go Go Luckey is thrilled to be embarking on this new adventure with the group. ACF have gone above and beyond in guiding us through a complex process and protecting our best interests every step of the way. We cannot thank the ACF team enough for all of their help."

Thomas Dey, ACF's CEO and president, added: "The combination of Eclipse and Go Go Luckey will create an exciting new team of TV professionals that will in no time be a market leading team. With the backing of Kilburn Media and Demarest Films we shall see more exciting growth soon."
