SÃO PAULO: On the heels of its participation at DISCOP East, Globo TV International has announced an agreement with Hungarian cable outlet Ozone Network for a slate of documentaries.

The channel signed up for 14 episodes (two seasons) of GloboDOC, a Brazilian documentary series produced exclusively for the international market. The series includes wildlife-themed episodes highlighting Brazilian flora and fauna. Ozone also picked up Recycling: Ticket to the Future, one of the most-screened titles at MIPDOC this year.

This is Globo’s first documentary deal in the Hungarian market, according to Raphael Corrêa Netto, the head of international sales. "For Globo, it was a great achievement, as the Hungarian market is very important in the region," he said.
