Globo Inks U.S. Deal on Doc Series

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International has licensed its Globo Doc wildlife and nature series to Univision’s pay-TV channel Galavision.

The series launches this month on the U.S. Hispanic channel, which reaches more than 35 million subscribers. The 13-episode show, produced by Globo for the worldwide market, will air in an access prime-time slot. It will feature episodes about the Amazon, the Pantanal and the Fernando de Noronha Island.
