Global Agency Lands Pilot Orders for Shopping Monsters

ISTANBUL: The Global Agency format Shopping Monsters has secured pilot orders in the U.S., Belgium and Germany, with options in place in 13 territories.

The series was first optioned by France’s Herve Hubert to develop a local version for a major broadcaster. It has also been secured by Cineflix for Australia, Canada, the U.K. and U.S.; by BlazHoffski for Belgium; and by Constantin in Germany. Other countries that secured Shopping Monsters include Finland, Sweden, Greece and Romania.

The series was first shown on Kanal D in Turkey earlier this year and became the most watched daytime show in the country. It is expected to be optioned in more than 25 countries by the end of the year.

Shopping Monsters is a competitive style challenge where women compete to be judged as style queen by the country’s top fashion designer.
