LOS ANGELES: The male-skewing Fuel TV network has commissioned a new 13-part travel-based series, Strangers in Danger, starring BMX pros and best friends Zack “Catfish” Yankush and Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla.

The series launches in the Fuel TV lineup in September. The 13 half-hour episodes are produced by Mandt Bros. Productions. The show follows Yankush and Escamilla as they travel country by country, one in each episode, finding the wildest things they can do within these indigenous cultures.

Fuel TV has slated a special sneak preview of the show for June 25 at 5 p.m. and June 26 at 6 p.m. The series then launches officially on September 6, taking a 10:30 p.m. time slot.

“From beginning to end, this series is an outrageous adventure with a bit of international travel education thrown in,” said George Greenberg, Fuel TV’s general manager. “Strangers in Danger puts Rooftop and Catfish in some very dramatic, sometimes disgusting and always entertaining situations. You can’t wait to see where and what they’ll do next.”

“We’re thrilled that Fuel TV identifies with our vision for compelling, adrenaline-pumping, adventure-seeking entertainment,” added Neil and Michael Mandt, partners of Mandt Bros. Productions, in a joint statement. “This new series will captivate Fuel TV’s target audience of males 12 to 34 years old.”
