FremantleMedia Takes on Kylie Kwong Series

SINGAPORE, November 29: Celebrity chef Kylie Kwong will
feature in a new culinary series, set in China, from Singaporean outfit Sitting
in Pictures, the MDA and FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).

The deal gives FME the worldwide television, DVD and
ancillary rights, excluding Singapore, to the 9×30-minute Kylie Kwong: My
China
. In it, the chef, a fourth-generation
Chinese-Australian, travels through China, sampling local cuisine and working
with locals to create meals. It will be a key show on FME’s factual slate in
2007.

Kwong, who runs the Billy Kwong restaurant in Sydney, is
known worldwide for her cook books and for previous television shows in the
U.S., U.K. and Australia.
