FremantleMedia Rolls Out Martha Stewart Show

LAS VEGAS, January 16:
FremantleMedia has notched up a raft of deals on its daytime series The
Martha Stewart Show
, which has now
been licensed into 16 markets worldwide.

The first season of the
series has been newly acquired by Mediacorp in Singapore, the African Business Channel in Africa, Ananey in Israel,
Turkey’s Show TV, TV3/8TV Malaysia and UBC in Thailand. Vitaya, Belgium;
OnMedia, Korea; SBS, Sweden; TVNZ, New Zealand and ABS CBN, Philippines have
renewed the series. The new additions join Portugal’s SIC, Iceland’s IBC,
Israel’s Good Life Channel, Kenya’s KTN, Poland’s Canal Plus, New Zealand’s The
Living Channel and Indonesia’s Kablevision.

The 180×1-hour
series was developed by Stewart and Mark Burnett. It has been nominated for
five Emmys and won one. FME holds
worldwide distribution rights to The Martha Stewart Show excluding North America (U.S. and Canada), Japan,
Australia, and the Arabic-speaking Middle East.
