FremantleMedia Launches Mobile Channel in the U.S.

NEW YORK/SEATTLE, October 16: FremantleMedia is working with
Mobliss to a launch new mobile channel, Atomic Wedgie, on Sprint in the U.S.,
featuring content from the FremantleMedia library.

Offerings will include comedic animated and live-action
shorts and series, British cult comedy and TV bloopers. The company will also
acquire content from third-party distributors. It launches today with a monthly
subscription cost of $4.95. The target demo is males 18 to 34, with key titles
like Baywatch Babes, Bush
Bites, British Invasion, Famous Farts
in
History
and Fortune Cookie.

at FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide. “The mobile user wants to be entertained
on demand, at key moments in their day. Our ability as a producer to create
