Fox Soccer Plus to Air France’s Ligue 1 Coverage

LOS ANGELES: Fox Soccer Plus has taken on the English-language U.S. broadcast and broadband rights for coverage of France’s Ligue 1.

This adds more than 76 hours of exclusive programming annual to the channel. This includes one Ligue 1 match per round in HD. Fox Soccer Channel is airing five Ligue 1 matches per year.

"The acquisition of Ligue 1 for Fox Soccer Plus demonstrates our aggressive pursuit of exclusive world-class programming for our viewers," said David Nathanson, the general manager of Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus. “Ligue 1 features an array of established and emerging stars from around the globe, and we are proud to showcase their unique brand of play to fans in the United States.”
