FOX Renews House and Bones

LOS ANGELES, February 16: FOX has picked up a fourth season
of House and has renewed Bones for a third season.

House, the top drama
on FOX, centers on Dr. Greg House (two-time Golden Globe winner Hugh Laurie), a
brilliant but unconventional physician with a brutally honest demeanor. The
series’ January 30 episode was the highest-rated scripted telecast of the 06/07
season on any network among adults 18-49, and the highest-rated scripted
telecast on any network in nearly a year. In its most recent airing this past
Tuesday, February 13, House
posted its highest rating ever among adults 18-49 (tied with its January 30
episode), and the highest-rated broadcast ever among adults 18-34, teens, women
18-34 and men 18-49 and 18-34. It also achieved the highest retention of its American
Idol
lead-in, among adults 18-49 (86
percent) and adults 18-34 (93 percent).

Bones stars Emily
Deschanel as forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, and David Boreanaz
as FBI agent Seeley Booth. Last week, the series delivered 12.6 million
viewers.
