FOX renews Death and Standoff

LOS ANGELES, November 17:The FOX Broadcasting Co. has ordered more
episodes of two freshman shows: the hostage drama Standoff and the Brad Garrett comedy ‘Til Death.

Fox ordered six more
episodes of Standoff, about
hostage negotiators, played by Ron Livingston and Rosemarie DeWitt, who are
romantically involved. ‘Til Death
received a nine-episode pickup and it stars Garrett and Joely Fisher as a
long-married couple who live next door to newlyweds.

Both shows were picked up
despite the fact they are scoring modest ratings.
