Former Talent Television Producer Launches New British Indie

LONDON, February 7: John A. Marley, most recently the series producer at
Talent Television in the U.K., has launched Archie Productions, an independent
production outfit that will develop and produce creative intellectual property
for both broadcast and digital media.

As creative director of Archie Productions, Marley will originate and
produce his own shows while actively seeking innovative partnerships with other
creative talent. Archie Productions currently has an active development slate
of properties across kids, entertainment and factual entertainment.

A key goal for Marley’s new company will be to forge significant
co-production partnerships with both new and established creatives in the U.K.
and internationally in order to produce original content that will meet the
demands of both the audience and today’s marketplace.

As series producer at Talent Television, Marley was responsible for the
first three seasons of CBBC’s Best of Friends and was also the producer
and director of seasons one and two of Cartoon’s Network’s hit series Skatoony, the world’s
first game show combining live action and animation. Marley’s other credits
include Noel’s House Party, Through the Keyhole, SMTV:Live/CD:UK and How Euro
Are You?

Marley commented: “Archie
Productions aims to put the creative process at the core of all its activity
and we are looking to partner with a myriad of talent. With a number
of exciting projects already underway, I'm looking forward to
collaborating with a wide range of companies and individuals on their content
and commercial strategies.”
