FME Sells Lifestyle, Music Package to Australia’s XYZnetworks

LONDON, November 20:
Australian pay-TV company XYZnetworks (XYZ) has acquired 84 hours of lifestyle
and music programming from FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).

Among the programs FME has
licensed to XYZ are The BRIT Awards 2008, slated to air in February on XYZ’s Channel [V]; seasons two and
three of Jimmy’s Farm; Jamie’s Italian Escape; and Jamie’s School Dinner Special featuring chef Jamie Oliver. XYZ has also
re-licensed Property Ladder,
picking up seasons two, three and four.

Paul Ridley, FME’s senior VP of sales for the Asia Pacific, commented: “We’re
very pleased to announce this sales package to XYZ. Our lifestyle programming
has a great brand fit for the XYZ audience and we look forward to continuing to
provide them with the best quality programming in this genre going forward.”
