FME Launches Jamie Oliver DVD

LONDON, October 26: FremantleMedia
Enterprises (FME) is set to roll out the culinary series Jamie at Home, featuring British chef Jamie Oliver, on DVD throughout
Europe and Asia.

Beginning October 29, the DVD will
be available in the U.K. in high street retail outlets. The launch of the DVD
throughout Europe and Asia follows a series of international DVD licensing
deals brokered by Fremantle Home Entertainment.

The DVD will feature 12×30-minute
episodes of Jamie at Home that
originally aired on Channel 4 in the U.K. Jamie at Home showcases Jamie Oliver cooking at home with simple,
accessible ingredients, including fruit and vegetables grown from his country
garden. Each episode is themed around a basic ingredient or cooking style, such
as “Tomatoes” or “Barbeque.” Jamie then takes viewers through easy to follow
recipes step-by-step such as summer tomato pasta and Indian carrot salad. Jamie at Home is
part of a portfolio of green programming within FME’s factual slate that aims
to offer audiences an inspirational and directional approach to living in
modern times.

Pete Kalhan, the senior VP of home entertainment and archive
sales at FremantleMedia Enterprises, said: “I am delighted to announce the
release of this popular series in DVD format. It’s great to see Jamie back in
the kitchen showing viewers how to make excellent, yet uncomplicated,
home-grown food.”
