LONDON: FremantleMedia Enterprises’ (FME) DISCOP lineup includes returning series and franchises, as well as new shows, across a number of genres, including drama, factual, comedy and entertainment.

Among the shows on offer are season three of Merlin, which has been sold to more than 52 broadcasters; a fourth season of The IT Crowd, following a trio of dysfunctional IT consultants; and season three of the Australian drama Satisfaction.

The factual offerings from FME include three new Jamie Oliver series: Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Jamie’s Food Escapes and Jamie’s Family Christmas. Oliver’s shows are aired in more than 140 countries and translated into 30-plus languages. There’s also Rome Unwrapped, an Atlantic Productions series. Two returning series from Thom Beers’ Original Productions will also be on offer, season three of Black Gold and season two of 1000 Ways to Die. Further titles include the cooking shows The Delicious Miss Dahl and Annabel Langbein: Free Range Cook, factual-entertainment series Kirstie Alley’s Big Life and wildlife doc Nigel Marven’s Panda Adventure.

FME’s home-entertainment division will also be showcasing new titles at DISCOP, in addition to the returning hits Merlin, The IT Crowd and Jamie’s Food Escapes. The new DVD title Greatest Boxer Ever leads the slate. Also in the catalogue is Elvis, a TV biopic from 1979. The World at War has been remastered and FME is re-releasing it to global audiences for the first time on Blu-ray as well as on DVD.

Mel Alcock, the CEO of EMEA at FME, commented, “FME has a fantastic slate of broadcast and home-entertainment titles for buyers this year. There are some big returning titles, which are now in their second or third series and still proving a great hit with audiences, along with a range of new factual and entertainment programs in our catalogue. Our expertise in content across all genres is reflected in the range and quality of programming that we have on offer—there is something for everyone.”
