Five to Air Zig Zag Science Doc

LONDON, July 28: British outfit Zig Zag Productions has
delivered to Five a documentary about people who choose to be cryonically
preserved in the hopes of being brought back to life in the future.

Five will air the special, Death in the Deep Freeze, as part of its Stranger than Fiction strand later this month. The one-hour film will be
sold internationally by Off the Fence under the title Freeze Me.

“We’re really very proud of what we have achieved with this
program,” said Jes Wilkins, executive producer at Zig Zag. “The human and
emotional journey we captured with one contributor in particular, filming prior
to her death and the subsequent process of her preservation, in conjunction
with the amazing scientific and ethical questions raised by this subject, makes
for one of our most challenging and fascinating productions to date.”
