Fireworks Scores New Crime Drama

LAS VEGAS, February 1: Fireworks International has picked up
the international sales rights to White Pine Pictures’ crime drama series The
Border.

The 13×1-hour series follows the members of an elite
Immigration and Customs Security (ICS) unit and the men and women who face the
dangerous and complex border-security cases. The Border currently airs on CBC in Canada, and performs well
with the key 25-to-54 demographic.

Peter
Raymont, the president of White Pine Pictures, said: “We are delighted to be working
with Fireworks International and are confident that The Border will flourish
internationally as part of their growing successful drama catalogue. The series
has built a large, growing audience in Canada over its first four weeks, and we
look forward to closing international sales with Fireworks’ assistance.”

Greg
Phillips, the president of Fireworks International, added: “The
Border

is the perfect fit to the Fireworks catalogue. We are thrilled to be working
with Peter and his very talented team and to be representing this compelling,
timely, and extremely well-crafted crime drama.”
