Filmax to Rep 3-D, Live-Action Feature

BARCELONA: Magic Journey to Africa, a stereoscopic 3-D, live-action offering budgeted at 10 million euros, is to be represented internationally by Filmax International.

From Orbita Max, Magical Journey to Africa tells the story of a 10-year-old girl who is on a journey to Africa on a magical winged horse. The film combines real images with CGI. It is one of the first European stereoscopic 3-D, live-action movies. The film was directed, written and produced by Jordi Llompart, and shooting took place in Namibian and South African locations.

Filmax will present the title at the Cannes Film Festival.
