FID Shores Up Israeli Deals

LONDON, August 10: Fremantle
International Distribution has licensed a number of factual titles from
Sundance Channel and Atlantic Productions to Noga in Israel.

Titles from the Sundance
portfolio included in the deal are the 6×1-hour Iconoclasts; Transgeneration, which explores the lives and struggles of a group
of transgender college students; and The Hill, following the personal and professional lives of
Capitol Hill staffers.

From the British
independent Atlantic Productions, meanwhile, are War of the Birds, the story of how pigeons were used by the Secret
Service during the Second World War; as well as Munich: The Real Assassins, Spartacus: Behind The Myth, Herod: Behind The Myth and Holy Warriors.

Also included in the deal
is the drama documentary from award-winning Brook Lapping Productions, Catherine
the Great
