BEVERLY HILLS: Starz has scheduled a November U.S. premiere date for its new limited series Flesh and Bone.

The eight-hour drama, from Emmy-winning Breaking Bad writer and executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett, is due out November 8. It follows a young dancer with a distinctly troubled past as she joins a prestigious ballet company in New York.

John Melfi (House of Cards, Sex and the City), Lawrence Bender (Inglourious Basterds, Good Will Hunting) and Kevin Brown (Roswell) are executive producers. Australian filmmaker David Michôd (Animal Kingdom, Rover) directed the first episode.

Starz Worldwide Distribution is launching the series at MIPTV.
