Expanding the Factual Portfolio

Portfolio Entertainment has solidified its commitment to high-quality factual and lifestyle programming with the addition of a number of new titles.

Portfolio Entertainment is "aggressively expanding" its factual catalogue, according to Joy Rosen, the company’s co-founder and co-president. "Our big focus is the launch of our new reality series Big Voice," she adds. The series follows world-renowned voice coach to the stars Elaine Overholt as she transforms everyday women, each on their own deeply personal journey, into singing divas. The 13×30-minute series, produced by Lenz Entertainment, leads off the MIPCOM slate.

Portfolio’s catalogue also includes a number of shows in the cooking genre, the likes of Everyday Exotic, featuring host Roger Mooking as he explores exotic ingredients and incorporates them into cooking, and Chef Abroad, starring chef Michael Smith as he heads out of the his kitchen, out of his comfort zone and goes off to explore new food frontiers. There’s also The Real Estate Adventures of Sandy and Maryse, following a pair of busy moms, friends and former co-workers who decide to try their hand at flipping a house, and The Restaurant Adventures of Caroline & Dave, about a couple who are opening up their own restaurant.
