Eurocinema and The Cinema Guild Ink VOD Deal

LOS ANGELES, February 6: Eurocinema, the on-demand video
service featuring European theatrical films, has signed an exclusive deal with
The Cinema Guild making its catalog of foreign films available across North
America via VOD, beginning this spring.

new partnership with The Cinema Guild,” said Larry Namer, the owner of
EuroMedia Holdings, which operates Eurocinema. “Cinema Guild’s catalog is
robust with acclaimed foreign language film titles. We are pleased to offer
marketing and promotional support for The Cinema Guild’s entire indie and
foreign catalog and look forward to showcasing many new titles in the months to
come."

Each film featured on
Eurocinema serves as the centerpiece of a two-hour hosted thematic programming
block designed to provide perspective on the main theme, with supplemental
content such as host commentary, original documentaries, director interviews,
as well as rarely seen short-format films relevant to the feature.

New branded blocks from The
Cinema Guild catalog include: Gilles‚ Wife,
a tale of love and betrayal in a small mining town in the French outskirts; Hide
Your Words
, an Iranian short following two
sisters on a walk towards salt springs; and The Inheritance, the story of a man who abandons his family business
for an idyllic life with a beautiful stage actress.

Eurocinema is available in more
than 15 million homes across the U.S. on Time Warner, Charter, Mediacom,
Atlantic Broadband, Bresnan Communications, Bright House Networks, and Buckeye
Communications, as well as on Rogers and Shaw Communications in Canada.
