ESPN Tops Ranking of Socially Engaged Networks

NEW YORK: ESPN sits atop the June ranking of the most socially engaged networks in the U.S., according to Shareablee, with 67.7 million total actions across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The research counts a total of 483.4 million social actions across TV shows and major network brands: 364.6 million on Facebook, 25.7 million on Twitter and 93.1 million on Instagram. The average number of total social interactions for networks in June was 8.6 million.

In second place on the ranking is Telemundo with 41.8 million interactions, followed by ABC with 39.6 million, NBC with 34.8 million and ABC Family with 31.2 million. Rounding out the top 10 are Univision, Fox News, MTV, E! and CBS.

In terms of TV shows, ESPN's SportsCenter had the most engagement, with 33.6 million actions. ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars had 24.5 million, NBC's Today Show 8.2 million and Telemundo's El Señor de los Cielos 7.9 million.
