ESPN Classic Extends Premier League Archives

LONDON, January 28: ESPN Classic has extended its contract with the Premier
League for archived English soccer highlights, dating back to 1992, for a
further three years.

Tony Stimpson, the
director of programming for Europe at ESPN Classic, commented: “The Premier
League has given English football fans some wonderful moments through the years
and fulfils ESPN Classic’s ambition to bring the best of British sport to U.K.
sports fans. We’re thrilled
these matches will continue to be part of our exciting schedule.”

ESPN Classic now reaches more than 22 million households
across Europe with local channels in the U.K., France and Italy and a European
channel now available in 40 countries.
