Following its acquisition by Lionsgate in December, Entertainment One (eOne) Canada has reorganized its scripted and unscripted television business, with Kerry Appleyard joining the company.

Appleyard is joining eOne Canada as senior VP of scripted and unscripted to direct both teams creatively under Hamilton’s leadership. Appleyard previously served as senior VP, head of scripted for Canada at Boat Rocker Studios.

Tecca Crosby, eOne Canada’s executive VP of scripted, will be leaving the company after 12 years to embark on a new chapter.

“Tecca has been a great creative partner, a wonderful mentor to her team and an accomplished executive with a long track record of original, daring and successful scripted series,” said Jocelyn Hamilton, eOne Canada’s TV president. “She has earned the respect and admiration of all of her colleagues, and she will be deeply missed by her eOne Canada family. We thank her for her contributions to our company and industry. We’re very fortunate to welcome an executive of Kerry’s stature to eOne. She brings great creative instincts and strong talent relationships to our scripted and unscripted business as part of a reorganization that will enhance our overall creative and business strategy.”
