Endemol Sport Lands Rights to Power Snooker Masters

LONDON: Endemol Sport is bringing the 2011 Power Snooker Masters, taking place this weekend in Manchester, to more than 190 territories.

The 2011 Power Snooker Masters were sold to territories in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Endemol Sport will produce more than 13 hours of live HD coverage from the event, covering 15 half-hour matches. In the U.K., ITV4HD will broadcast the event live, and coverage will be provided by Eurosport in Europe to more than 50 territories. Sport 1 in Hungary, the Czech and Slovak Republics, Al Jazeera Sports in the Middle East and Northern Africa, Shanghai TV in China, Astro in Malaysia, SkyNet in Myanmar and Starhub in Singapore will also provide coverage.

The Eurosport Asia-Pacific feed will provide coverage on a 48-hour delay to 17 territories in the region. ESPN International networks will broadcast the official highlights programs to more than 120 territories on their Latin American, Caribbean, African, Middle East and Oceania feeds. Setanta Sports will also broadcast the shows into Ireland and Africa.
