Endemol Picks Up Hot in Cleveland

LONDON/LOS ANGELES: Through a deal with MTV Networks Entertainment Group, Endemol has acquired the distribution rights outside the U.S. for the TV Land original sitcom Hot in Cleveland.  

The half-hour series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. The premiere episode was the highest-rated and most-watched telecast in the history of TV Land, drawing in some 5 million viewers. Endemol Worldwide Distribution will launch the series to the worldwide market at MIPCOM. 

MTV Networks Entertainment Group’s senior VP of content, Eddie Dalva, commented: “We are thrilled to be in business with Endemol on Hot in Cleveland and excited to be able to harness Endemol’s many strengths for TV Land’s biggest original show ever.”
