En Pantalla Takes DVD Rights to BBC Properties

LONDON, March 9: Mexican DVD distributor En Pantalla has taken on the
rights to distribute factual titles from BBC Worldwide in Mexico and Central
America, via a two-year output deal.

The
deal will enable En Pantalla to release a minimum of three BBC factual titles
per month. Key titles include Planet Earth, Natural Worlds, Galapagos, Rome, Krakatoa and Hannibal, among others.

En
Pantalla has also acquired the rights to distribute a slate of children's and
drama titles, including The Secret Show, Charlie & Lola, Extras, Robin Hood, Hotel Babylon and Spot.

Ben
Donald, the head of Latin America in the consumer products division at BBC
Worldwide, noted: "This is the largest DVD deal we have signed in the
region and look forward to bringing our titles to the masses."

The
distribution of the BBC titles will begin this month and En Pantalla will work
with retailers on in-store promotion and marketing campaigns.
