E1 to Showcase New Series at MIPCOM

TORONTO: The police drama Copper leads off the roster of programming from E1 Entertainment, alongside further titles such as The Bridge, Outlaw Bikers, Re-Vamped and Stormworld.

The hour-long drama Copper centers on five rookie cops in the world big city policing. The series sold to ABC in the U.S. and Global Television in Canada. The series stars Missy Peregrym (Reaper, Heroes) and Gregory Smith (Everwood). The Bridge, starring Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica, X-Men 2), is set to air on CBS in the U.S. and Canwest Global in Canada.

The number one rated series on History Television in Canada, Outlaw Bikers looks inside the dangerous world of the Hells Angels as they attempt to wipe out their rivals in Canada and Scandinavia. Re-Vamped provides a fresh take on the makeover reality genre. The series watches as eight newly single women for a burlesque troupe and undergo an emotional transformation to get their confidence back. The series is also available as a format from E1.

The teen sci-fi series Stormworld rounds out the offerings. The 26×30-minute show follows two teenagers who get caught up in a swirling vortex that brings them to a parallel universe with three suns, mind-distorting storms and wild coastlines. The hostile environment has limited food and drinkable water is scarce, and everyone is in search of the way home.
