E! Expands Global Footprint

LOS ANGELES: Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has signed a number of channel deals for E! International Network, with new launches in France, the Netherlands and Macedonia.

E! International Network launched on France Telecom’s Orange TV platform via DTH, DSL and Fibre, as part of the Bouquet Thematique. E! adds 5 million subscribers with this new launch, including the channel’s existing carriage on CanalSat, Numericable, SFR and Free TV.

The channel is also now available to Dutch cable operator CaiW subscribers, as part of the digital Delight Package. E! International Network has further distribution in the territory via UPC, Ziggo and KPN.

The network has also launched on Boom TV, Macedonian telecommunications operator One’s pay DTT platform. With local subtitling, E! is also available in Macedonia via SBB-owned Total TV’s DTH platform.
