His role will see him oversee sales in Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, New Zealand and French-speaking Canada, working closely with the company’s founders and co-managing directors, Lilla Hurst and Ben Barrett. Based in London, Bartlett will report directly to Barrett and Hurst.

During his career, he also held senior roles at BBC Worldwide, Fremantle, Channel 4 International and Portman Entertainment.

Barrett said: “I’m delighted that such a renowned sales professional as Chris has joined Drive. Chris is a highly experienced executive across all genres, and also crucially has a great track record in both co-production and format sales, so his expertise will be a valuable addition to our team.”

Bartlett added: “I’m more than delighted to be working with the incredibly dynamic team at Drive and look forward to be an integral part in promoting and selling such a diverse high-quality catalog.’’
