LONDON: DRG has scored deals for its recently launched Titan Television formats slate, with Celebrity Babysitter heading to Germany and Room for a Star scoring a U.S. deal.

Celebrity Babysitter landed a deal with Berlin-based Tresor Television, behind Germany’s Next Top Model and local versions of Supernanny and Popstars. Room for a Star is heading to the U.S. with Colocean Productions, behind Wedding Crashers, Opportunity Knocks and The Swan.

Andrea Jackson, the managing director of acquisitions and formats at DRG, said, “We’re delighted to confirm the first two partners in a raft of new deals for these great Titan formats. They both offer huge opportunities for the local broadcaster. Room for a Star is incredibly sponsor and advertiser-friendly and a great vehicle for talent and Celebrity Babysitter brings a completely new way to presenting a celebrity interview, with kids getting to ask the questions that no adult would dare.”

Lolo Westerman, the programming developer at Titan Television, added, “We are very happy to have this first deal closed in the U.S.A. and convinced that Colocean Production is a perfect partner for this specific show. We look forward to the outcome.”
