Dori Media Projects 2008 Revenue Gain

TEL AVIV, January 16: Dori Media Group is forecasting that its full-year revenues for 2008 will be up 67 percent to $50 million from $30 million.

However, the company is expecting profits to be impacted by what it calls a "noticeable slowdown in sales in the fourth quarter," which is usually its strongest period. Dori Media puts this down to cautiousness on the part of buyers in the wake of economic conditions, as well as delays in new telenovela commissions from Argentina and Israel. Dori Media is forecasting a before-tax profit for the year of between $4 million and $6 million. The full-year audited results will be released by February.
