Disney Orders More Hannah Montana, Suite Life on Deck

BURBANK, December 3:
Disney Channel has ordered additional episodes for a third season of its hit
live-action series Hannah Montana and
a second season of The Suite Life on Deck.

For the fourth quarter
of 2008, Hannah Montana, which
stars teen sensation Miley Cyrus, ranked as the number one basic cable series
among kids 6 to 11 and tweens 9 to 14 and is the number one scripted series in
total viewers.

The Suite Life on
Deck, a spin-off of The Suite
Life of Zack & Cody, starring
Cole and Dylan Sprouse, ranks as television's number two program among kids 6
to 11 and is number three among tweens. It is also the number three scripted
series across all basic cable in total viewers.

Gary Marsh,
the president of entertainment for Disney Channels Worldwide, said: "The
talent behind Hannah Montana
has made it a true global sensation and cultural icon not just on television,
where it topped the ratings on Disney Channels around the globe, but as a
chart-topping music act and beyond. It has become part of the global cultural
