DIC Names Global Brand Management VP

BURBANK, October 3:
DIC Entertainment has promoted Leila Pirnia to VP of global brand
management, reporting to the company’s head of global sales, Nancy Fowler.

Pirnia will oversee a group of
global brand managers at DIC to guide the strategic direction across all
business platforms, including television, home entertainment, consumer products
and new media, of the company’s brands such as SPG: Slumber Party Girls, Horseland, CAKE, McDonald’s, Strawberry Shortcake, Madeline
and Classic Trolls.

“Leila will continue to play an
integral role in the company’s continued expansion into a global brand
powerhouse as she looks for strategic and efficient ways to manage DIC’s
business growth,” Fowler said. “Leila brings a business savvy and unwavering
commitment to her work which consistently results in exceeding goals and furthering
DIC’s overall growth and success.”

Pirnia previously served as VP
of strategic planning and business development.
