Dawn Airey Joins Board of Blackbird

Former Channel 5 CEO Dawn Airey is joining the board of the cloud video platform Blackbird as a non-executive director.

Most recently, Airey spent three years as CEO of Getty Images, prior to which she spent two years as senior VP at Yahoo!’s EMEA office. She has held leadership positions at a number of major U.K. media companies, including as president of a unit of RTL Group, Channel 5’s parent company, and chairwoman and chief executive of Channel 5, where she oversaw all operations.
