Darlow Smithson Announces Internal Restructure

LONDON, March 8: IMG Media’s Darlow Smithson has recently completed
an internal restructure, with executive chairman John Smithson also assuming
the role of chief creative director and Tom Brisley, formerly head of factual,
promoted to creative director.

In Smithson’s additional new role, he will primarily focus on
feature films, drama, high-end drama documentaries, high-end documentaries and
new initiatives across TV and film production. He will also manage all new
media opportunities.

In Brisley’s new role, he will take editorial responsibility
for and be responsible for growing the
company’s range of innovative documentary series output and all other projects.

Both positions will be supported with a full development team. In addition, Ben Bowie and Paul Wooding,
formerly executive producers, are both appointed as senior executive producers.

The internal restructure was undertaken in response to the
company’s recent expansion and growth. Darlow Smithson’s turnover doubled from
£10 million to £20 million between 2005 and 2006. The company was acquired by
IMG Media in April 2006.
