Dame Joan Collins has received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Film & Television Awards, in partnership with Sky.

Collins, best known for her portrayal of Alexis Carrington in Dynasty, has appeared in more than 70 films and hundreds of television productions. Her credits span Esther and the King and the forthcoming The Duchess & I.

Collins has received two Golden Globes, a People’s Choice Award, numerous international accolades and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She has also appeared on Broadway and the West End and featured on major tours in the U.K. and North America.

Collins received the EON Productions Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Sir Stephen Fry, at the awards ceremony that took place at the London Hilton Park Lane.

“I am thrilled to receive this special Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Film & Television Awards, a celebration dedicated to women in our industry,” Collins said. “Even after so many years in film and television, I’m still energized by the creativity and talent we have. My latest project, playing Wallis Simpson opposite the wonderful Isabella Rossellini in a film written by Louise Fennell, reminds me just how powerful our stories can be, especially when women are shaping them. It’s an honor to be recognized with this award and to continue working on projects that champion women both on- and off-screen.”

Also at this year’s awards, Fiona Bruce received the EIKON Presenter Award for her work as the first female anchor of Question Time, as well as her work across the BBC Election 24, Fake or Fortune and Antiques Roadshow. Anna Maxwell Martin won the BBC Studios Best Performance Award for her role in Until I Kill You.

The ITV Studios Achievement of the Year Award was presented to Heloise Beaton in recognition of her leadership and work in disability inclusion in the U.K. television industry. Assistant producer Nadia Aswani received the Netflix New Talent Award in recognition of her work on Our Oceans and HOME.

The Paramount Contribution to the Medium Award was presented to sports broadcaster and presenter Gabby Logan, who has a record covering Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Invictus Games, the FIFA World Cup, the EUROS and Six Nations. She has also worked outside of sports, presenting prime-time game shows, chat shows and documentaries such as The Vault, Splash!, The Edge and more.

Actor and producer Hannah Walters, co-founder of Matriarch Productions with Stephen Graham, received the ENVY Producer Award. She recently worked on Netflix’s Adolescence and Disney’s A Thousand Blows.

The BBC News and Factual Award was given to broadcaster, producer and author Sophie Morgan (Crufts, Paralympic Games, ABC News Breakfast, Loose Women and Good Morning Britain).

“It is fantastic to be here to celebrate and champion the power that is women in film and television,” said Katie Bailiff, CEO of the Women in Film & Television Awards. “2025 has been a year where we’ve seen fantastic talent across various disciplines within TV and film exhibiting tremendous creativity and innovation. WFTV strives to uplift, empower and support women within the industry, pushing for a thriving and inclusive industry. With barriers still to break, our mission continues.”
